Punishment Never Heals

How often do we punish ourselves for things we think we should have done or things we did we think we shouldn’t have; do we put up walls of rejection and fear and and self-righteous non-truths to protect our desires. These punishments seem to rip through the flesh of the soul. Punishment never heals. Only love can heal.
